Ruru Shih is a film programmer and independent producer based in Taipei, whose work spans curation, production, and audience development. She is currently Director of Programming and Marketing at Giloo, an independent streaming platform dedicated to documentary and arthouse cinema.
Her curatorial practice explores how independent and socially engaged films can reach audiences and generate dialogue beyond the festival circuit. At Giloo, she leads programming and international collaborations, working with independent voices from Taiwan, East and Southeast Asia, and drawing on an earlier background in brand strategy and audience communication. Her interests center on documentary, experimental practice, and contemporary Asian cinema.

曾於 4A 廣告公司累積多年品牌策略經驗，後轉入獨立電影與紀實影像領域，工作橫跨放映策劃、影像製作與策展推廣。於 Giloo 負責平台之選片策展、營運策略與行銷推廣，並推動多項國際策展合作，將影展策展觀點延伸至實體與線上放映場域，深化影像與觀眾之間的對話。其長期關注社會議題、藝術實驗與亞洲當代影像。
